Featuring a core of Pukatea buttress root. The Pukatea represents the interconnectedness between the physical and spiritual realm. Pukatea was traditionally used as for healing and as a natural pain relief. This core is held by the red strips of Rewarewa, which also has healing properties and represents physical and spiritual sustenance, and Totara - the chiefly tree.
