Why I began: honouring the physical and the beautiful

For a long time, I thought the physical was irrelevant. We are more than this physical form. As long as things functioned, that was all that mattered. Through life and experience, I now know that without the physical, we do not get to be here, to contribute, to love, to experience. It now brings me great pleasure to honour the physical – this human form, the objects around me, and all of the beauty that nature offers.

My unique touch: love, Taranaki, and every piece

I pour my love into every piece. My unique style is not only inspired by each individual item but also by the stunning Taranaki landscape that surrounds me. This connection to nature and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship are woven into every restoration.

Committed to saving: beauty in every detail

It is important to me to save what glorious wood grain I can. I will often paint parts of pieces where repairs were too extensive. I make sure to use colours that complement the wood and are pleasing to the eye, ensuring each piece is both beautiful and thoughtfully restored.
